Cricket Coach is a sports-themed game where you lead your team to victory.
If you love playing the game of cricket, Cricket Coach allows you to manage the team instead of playing on it. This provides a completely new approach in comparison to what you may be used to and gives you the managerial skills that you need to take on a coaching position of your own.
There have been some notable improvements in the game since it was first released in 2009. The newest version simulates the 2011 World Cup, which provides you with more management tools and a closer overview of the real game.
The game has all of the 2011 tours, including Australia versus India. Within the game, there is a customizable tour manager, allowing you to jet set around the world. You can arrange tours of the many countries, arrange host countries for tests, T-20 series and one-day internationals.
What’s impressive about Cricket Coach is that there is a database of historical players that is very comprehensive. You will be able to coach a team with some of the greats of all time, including Brian Lara. You have the ability to play as many as 10 major test match-playing nations or you can pick from more than 100 domestic sides. There are also various minor teams that you can choose from, including Scotland, USA and Ireland.
One of the main reasons that this game is so popular is that it allows you to manage a team on and off of the field. You are in control of every critical decision that needs to be made, just like a real coach.
It’s important to note that physical game play is not included within this game. The name of the game is Cricket Coach and, therefore, you’ll be coaching only. If you want to play the game of cricket on the computer, then you will need to download another game.
There is a significant amount of realism brought to the management of a cricket game. You will be able to play on your PC at any time that you want. This trial version allows you to test things out to see whether you are happy with the overall game play and layout. Once the trial is up, you have the decision of whether you want to upgrade to the full version or not.
This is a relatively small download for a game at only 16 MB. You will be able to have it installed in a matter of minutes so that you can begin building your team, setting up tours and watching the teams compete. The graphics are great, and you will gain a better appreciation for all of the work that a cricket coach actually does in order for the games to be played. It also may help you to manage a local team of your own.
